POINT MenPOINT Men is the name of our Men's Ministry here at Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship. POINT Men gather once per month for a focused fellowship meeting, which is currently studying the book Kingdom Man by Tony Evans. Additionally, a small group bible study also happens monthly. Community based events are also done regularly as well.
POINT Men is open to all who are interested, ages 18+. We support men in growth in their relationship with Christ, with one another as Christian men, and how to translate that into everyday life. We also encourage our young men to participate in POINT Men so we may guide and mentor them towards a knowledge of and relationship with Christ, and teach them how to apply their knowledge in everyday situations. |
Jesus called them together and said, "you know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave - just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:25-28.
Our Mission |
Our purpose is to develop, equip, and prepare our men, in God's word and in prayer with the compassion of Christ and empowered in the Holy Spirit, both for this ministry and the kingdom of God.

Our History |
What does POINT Men mean? A Point Man is historically a military term to describe a member of a unit or operation who leads at the front of the group. This person must be alert, focused, attentive, vigilant, and observant, as they are the first person to react and give warning to the rest of the unit. This is also generally the person who does reconnaissance and determines the safest course for the group to take.
At Rock Harbor, the POINT Man takes on the same characteristics identified in the military definition - a leader who is observant, attentive, vigilant, focused, and supporting all men who come through the doors of our church. A POINT Man knows who the enemy is (the devil), but is strong in the Word and is able to identify and share tools in the gospel to combat those attacks from the enemy. |
